SCENIC  KENTUCKY

I found a few old photographs of mine from rock collecting trips years and I thought I would use them.  The creek shown is in jackson county and is beautiful place.

The Scout pictured is one I used to own and use for rock collecting.  I drove all over Alabama, Kentucky, Tennessee, and Ohio for years collecting. The agate on the truck tailagate and the agate on the rock are what I could find in one day then.  It has changed a lot now you would be lucky to find that much in a month.

I have a few polished specimens and cabochons of Tennessee paint rock agate that I will try to exhibit soon.  I went rock collecting with Virgil Owens of Tullahoma, TN a few times. He really knew where the agate was.

The photo with the orange scout and house was taken over 15 years ago and the house is in Jackson County and is a log cabin.
Some friends of mine lived in it back then and made rocking chairs.
